Hi I'm Sam, the founder of Utile Accountancy. With 8 years of experience in the accounting industry, I’ve seen first-hand how traditional firms operate—and I knew there had to be a better way. As an entrepreneur at heart, I set out to create a modern and dynamic approach to accounting, one that truly supports business owners in reducing stress, increasing profits, and making smarter financial decisions. At Utile Accountancy, we go beyond the numbers, providing tailored strategies that help our clients grow and succeed.

James Read

Chief Operating Officer

I’m James, a Chartered Accountant qualified with ACCA, always looking for ways to bring smarter, more efficient solutions to accounting. I’m passionate about new tech and love finding ways to streamline how we work, keeping things fresh and improving every day. Outside of work, football has always been a big part of my life, whether I’m playing or watching. I also enjoy pushing myself in the gym, winding down with a sauna and ice bath, and getting stuck into a good book—always looking to learn something new!

I'm Ellie, I'm dedicated to assisting clients with a wide range of queries, no matter the size or complexity. At Utile, I’ve had the opportunity to leverage my 8 years of experience in accountancy and finance, whilst continuously developing new skills and collaborating with a fantastic team. I focus on providing tailored, modern solutions and reliable support to meet the unique needs of each client. Outside the office, I enjoy baking, performing with my function band across the country, and unwinding with my two cats at the end of each day.
